Introduction

Creatify Labs just shipped Boreal-H3 — a MiniMax H3 checkpoint post-trained specifically for advertising video. On Oct 2 they opened it in the Model Playground and Creatify API: text-to-video, image-to-video, and multi-reference workflows aimed at product labels that stay readable, creators who stay the same person, and briefs that actually finish.

Why ads get their own post-train

Frontier video models are great at “looks cinematic.” Ads also need the can label to survive a reveal, the creator to match the reference, and the brief’s final beat to land. Creatify’s Ads Quality Index puts Boreal-H3 at 133.3 vs MiniMax H3 = 100, with 85.3% reference fidelity in their blinded setup. On hard production briefs they report brief completion 27.8% → 50.0%, subject consistency 83.3% → 94.4%, and visible defects down ~70%.

Treat those as vendor evals — useful for sizing the bet, not as an arena Elo.

How makers run it today

  1. Open the Boreal-H3 entries in Creatify’s Model Playground (endpoint control vs multi-reference).
  2. Or call the Creatify API with the same three modes.
  3. Prefer short product/creator briefs with clear reference stills — that’s what the post-train optimized for.

Caveats

This is closed API / playground, not open weights. It’s an advertising specialist on top of H3, not a general replacement for every H3 shot. Real campaign lift still needs your own A/B — Creatify says as much.
