StillSpin360: One Photo to Frozen 360° Orbit

Introduction
Want the classic bullet-time orbit from one photo without hand-wiring Comfy every time? On Nov 3, Garionhk shipped StillSpin360 V1.0.0 — an Apache-2.0 Windows app that turns a still into a frozen-time 360° spin, then exports a looping MP4, GIF, or an interactive HTML viewer you can drag by hand.
Under the hood it is local video-gen on a version-locked ComfyUI Portable, using MiniMax-H3 FL2VA (pruned w6a8) plus pablodawson’s MiniMax-H3 360 Orbit LoRA. The same photo is fed as both first and last keyframe so the orbit closes cleanly.
What shipped
- GitHub release
V1.0.0(published ~01:00 UTC Nov 3) with a ~87 MBStillSpin360.-.V1.0.0.zipplus the source tree. - Installer (
install.bat/install.ps1) that checks GPU / RAM / pagefile, asks you to accept the MiniMax-H3 Community License, then either: - installs a pinned ComfyUI Portable v0.42.1 (sha256-verified) beside the app, or
- reuses a ComfyUI path you already have.
- Model download with resume + sha256 for anything missing (up to ~36 GB of weights; plan ~45 GB free disk).
- Desktop / Start Menu shortcuts (optional).
- Bundled
comfy_workflows/orbit_api.jsonso the orbit graph is not a mystery paste.
Hardware the README asks for: Windows 10/11, NVIDIA GPU with about 12–16 GB VRAM, 32 GB RAM minimum (with a ≥32 GB pagefile because the 32B text encoder and video model take turns in system memory).
Where it fits
StillSpin360 is a productized local orbit kit, not a new foundation model. If you already live in Comfy and own the H3 + Orbit LoRA stack, you can keep your own graph. If you want a one-folder Windows path from photo → seamless orbit export without hunting portable builds and LoRA IDs, this is the packaged route.
It is not a cloud API and it is not on the Comfy Registry as a node pack — it is an app + installer + pinned portable Comfy.
Run it today
- Grab the release: https://github.com/Garionhk/StillSpin360/releases/tag/V1.0.0
- Or clone the repo: https://github.com/Garionhk/StillSpin360
- Copy the
releasefolder somewhere with ~45 GB free (avoid Program Files). - Run
installer\install.bat, pick a fresh portable Comfy or point at yours, accept the H3 license, and let models verify. - Drop one photo, generate the orbit, export MP4 / GIF / HTML.
Chinese docs ship beside the English README (README.zh-Hant.md) if that is your preferred install path.

Conclusion
Frozen-time orbits used to mean hunting portable builds, LoRAs, and keyframe tricks. StillSpin360 wraps that into a Windows installer with pinned Comfy, checksummed H3 weights, and exports that actually loop. If your next product shot wants to spin in place, this is the local kit to try today. ✨🎞️
